Striving after Meaning

Three deductions of discernment:

• Wise devotions – 1:1-2, 12-13 (test of wisdom)

Meaningless, meaningless…devoted to exploring by wisdom

• Wearisome winds – 1:3-9 (toil of effort)

What is gained from toil? All things are wearisome…

• Walking pathways – 1:10-11 (teaching of awards)

There is no remembrance of men of old

Human achievements apart from God…

Give us discerning hearts to distinguish right from wrong
