Three Devotions for Good – the evidence

1. A Devotion for a Good behavior – verses 8-14

Prove zealous for what is good

A devotion to five virtues: to be harmonious, sympathetic, loving, compassionate, humble

 

2. A Devotion for a Good faith – verses 15-17

Prove ready to give a defense

Apologetics is the reasonable & respectful defense of Christianity

A devotion to the defense of our faith the suffering of Christ

 

3. A Devotion for a Good conscience – verses 18-22

Prove the pledge of a good conscience toward God

An awareness of God that our heart & actions are acceptable

A devotion to join God and bringing others into His Kingdom
