Ephesians 4:12-16

The body of Christ built up…reaching unity…becoming mature

Conforming to Christ – Three Ambitions

1) Be Built-up – Kingdom Body Building – Ephesians 4:12
The body of Christ be built up
Target of the fully mature: Ephesians 4:7, 11-12, 16
2) Be United – Kingdom Unity – Ephesians 4:13a
Until we all reach unity in the faith & knowledge of the Son
Tenacity of the fully mature: Ephesians 4:3-6, 13a
3) Be Fully-grown – Kingdom Completion – Ephesians 4:13b
Become mature, attaining the whole measure of fullness of Christ
Traits of the fully mature: Ephesians 4:2, 13b, 14-15
