• Superior Priest (8:1-3) – His sacrifice

The point…we have a high priest who sat down and serves

 

• Superior Mediator (8:4-6) – His intercession

The covenant of which He is mediator

 

• Superior Covenant (8:7-13) – His promise

Founded on better promises …calling this covenant “new”

 

Communion – new covenant in His blood – Luke 22:20

“This cup is the new covenant in my blood; poured out for you.”
