“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like…”

“Ten Virgins” ~ Matthew 25:1-13

“Five of them were foolish and five were wise”
A warning parable – do not be unprepared for the Bridegroom

Two bridal party preparations:

  1. Spirit-filled birth – wise or foolish – oil for their lamps

    John 3:3-8; Romans 8:9-1 1; Ephesians 5:15-18

    We become people of God by faith – born of the Spirit

  2. Spirit-led walk – known or unknown – went in/shut out

    Matthew 7:21-23; Galatians 5:16-18, 25; Titus 3:3-7

    We become kingdom people by faithfulness – walk by the Spirit
