“Of Seeds & Weeds” – Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

The Kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed but…

Broad teaching: the present kingdom sowers have an enemy; their kingdoms in are in conflict & closeness

Recognize Three Kingdom Realities:

1. Good sowed Seed – 13:24, 27, 37-38a

The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man

 Field is the world; the good seed is the children of the kingdom

2. Enemy sowed Weeds – 13:25, 28, 38b-39a

The weeds are the children of the evil one

The enemy who sows them is the devil

3. Weeds grow among the Wheat – 26, 29-30, 39b-42

Let both grow together until the harvest

The harvest is the end of age & the harvesters are angels

Kingdom Harvest ~ 13:43

The righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom
