1 Thessalonians 2:13-16

You became imitators of God’s churches which are in Christ Jesus

Being in Christ (united) – 4 relational realities
1. The Word (Scripture) of Christ in you – 2:13

Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ – Romans 10:17

2. The Strength of Christ in you – 2:14

My grace is sufficient, for my power is made perfect in weakness…so that Christ’s power may rest on me – 2 Corinthians 12:9

3. The Suffering of Christ in you – 2:15

I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing his sufferings – Philippians 3:10

4. The Salvation of Christ in you – 2:16

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus – Romans 8:1
