Hold on to hope – Hebrews 3:1-6

Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house.

Consider the superiority of Jesus: “greater than”

• Greater faithfulness (3:1-2) – superior calling

Jesus Christ is faithful over God’s house

 

Lord’s table: “fix your thoughts on Jesus” – superior covenant!

In him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. –Eph. 1:7

 

• Greater honor (3:3-4) – superior confession

Jesus Christ is worthy of honor

 

• Greater hope (3:5-6) – superior courage

Jesus Christ is our courage & hope
