How can we live a life worthy of our calling in Christ?

Holy Spirit Equipping – set on four provisions:

1. Gifts of Character – spiritual fruit – 4:1-3

“Bearing with one another in love”

Spirit submitted lives–Eph. 5:15-21; Spiritual fruit–Gal. 5:16-26

 

2. Gifts of Cooperation – spiritual unity – 4:3-6

“One body and one Spirit…one hope”

Spirit controlled lives–Romans 8:5-11

 

3. Gifts of Compassion – spiritual standing – 4:7-10

“To each grace has been given”

Spirit influenced lives–1 Peter 4:7-11

 

4. Gifts of Community – spiritual growth – 4:11-16

“All things grow up into Him who is the Head”

Spirit empowered lives–1 Corinthians 12:7-11
