Face of the Lord – Psalm 27

My heart says of you ‘Seek His face!’ Your face, LORD

One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek

Two Confessions of Confidence:

1. God’s face is our Security – Psalm 27:1-6 (calm)

He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in shelter

Calm & confidence are found in the shelter of His presence

2. God’s face is our Strength – Psalm 27:7-14 (courage)

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD…

Courage & confidence are found in the strength of His goodness

Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.
