• Directionless: 1:14-18 -striving after endless winds

All of them are meaningless, chasing after the wind

Being tossed on the seas of uncertainty – confusion

 

• Divine: 1 Kings 4:29-34 -striving after the everlasting Word

God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight

Being placed on the solid rock of certainty – confidence
