“Are we there yet?” – Mark 12:28-34

You are not far from the kingdom of God

Kingdom Entrance: One decision – Faith in Jesus

Three Evidences of Love:

1. Love for God – 12:28-30

Love the Lord your God with all your heart…

Devoted to God – Matthew 4:8-10 & Romans 10:9-13

Have we truly loved God as the single focus of our worship?

 

2. Love for Others – 12:31-33

Love your neighbor as yourself

Devoted to one another – Romans 12:9-13

Have we truly loved others with a sincerely devoted love?

 

3. Long Obedience in the same direction – 12:33-34

And this is love: that we walk in obedience – 2 John 1:6

Devoted to acts of love – Romans 13:8-10; 1 John 3:23-24

Have we truly loved the direction to step in obedience?

 

“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love”
