Angelic Assignment – Hebrews 1:4-14

In speaking of angels, He says…but about the Son He says…

Jesus superior to angels – higher ratings:

• Authority (1:4-7) – superior to angels

He became as much superior to angels as the name inherited

Response: submit to His superior Name

• Anointing (1:8-9) – scepter of the kingdom

By anointing you with the oil of joy

Response: surround His throne in worship

• Assignment (1:10-14) – supreme reign

Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool

Response: serve His kingdom calling
