    We thank God for you… faith is growing… love is increasing

  2. Persevere in Suffering (a posture of perseverence) ~ 1:4-5

    We boast about your perseverance and faith

  3. Protected in God’s Justice (a posture of protection) ~ 1:5-7

    In all persecutions & trials… God’s judgment is right & just
