Three Biblical Principles of Stewardship
1) Stewardship – a relational responsibility of trust
“called his servants and entrusted his property”
We are assigned to care for His possessions (25:14-18)
2) Stewardship – a relational responsibility of accountability
“the master returned and settled accounts”
We are answerable for what He has entrusted (25:19-29)
3) Stewardship – a relational responsibility of service
“Well done, good & faithful…wicked, lazy servant”
We are appointed laborers called to action (25:21,23,26,30)
