They settled in their towns. …Be still this is a sacred day.

• Worship – 8:4-7 (trust reinforcement)

Ezra praised the LORD, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded…in worship.

• Word – 8:8-10 (teaching realized)

They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear

From rest to reinforcement to reasoning to rejoicing!
