Question: Will we have free will in heaven?
True Liberty – Romans 8:1-23
Liberated from bondage & decay ~ brought into glorious freedom
1. Groaning Labor (as in child birth) ~ “in the flesh”
- Bondage tied to flesh (weakness)
- Bondage tied to sin nature (evil desire)
- Bondage tied to death (decay)
2. Glorious Liberty (as in spiritual birth) ~ “in the Spirit”
- Freedom bound in the Spirit (strength)
- Freedom bound in Christ (righteousness)
- Freedom bound in life (redeemed)
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed ~ John 8:36
