No Comforter – Ecclesiastes 4:1-

I saw the tears of the oppressed; they have no comforter.

God of Comfort & Calm

Tests: two contrasting choices:

• Power: coercion or comfort – Eccl. 4:1-3

Power was on the side of the oppressors…

• Peace: toil or tranquility – Eccl. 4:4-6

Better one handful with tranquility than two with toil

Answers: Hasten to the LORD & Comfort those in trouble
