God’s Faithfulness – Romans 3:1-8

Let God be true…

God is Faithful & True –three absolutes:

  • God’s Word – 3:1-2 –unchanging covenant

Entrusted with the very words of God

  • God’s Faithfulness – 3:3-4 –unfailing character

Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness?

  • God’s Truth – 3:5-8 –uncompromising certainty

If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness

Our response –confess His faithfulness & our unfaithfulness:

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins & purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
