Romans 8:14-18

Led by the Spirit we are children; we are co-heirs

Two blessings in God’s Promise of Family Acceptance & Inclusion

1) Spirit of Adoption (children) ~ 8:15-16

You received the Spirit of adoption into sonship

The Spirit Himself testifies we are God’s children

2) Spiritual inheritance (co-heirs) ~ 8:17-18

If we are children, then we are heirs of God, co-heirs with Christ

Our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory
