Children Of Promise

Children of Promise – Romans 9:6-13

It is the children of the promise who are Abraham’s offspring

God’s sovereign purposes prevail:

• God’s Word – never fails (9:6)

It is not as though God’s word had failed

 

• God’s Will – never late (9:7-9)

It is through Isaac…Sarah will have a son

 

• God’s Way – always higher (9:10-13)

In order that God’s purpose in election would stand

 

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”

Isaiah 55:9
