Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?” … The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers & sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:37-38, 40 – kingdom parable teaching by Jesus

Practices of faith & love:

Jesus (above), James (see James 2:14-17) and John (see 1 John 3) all agree in their teaching that Christ’s followers are called to demonstrate their faith & love with action and good deeds.

“If anyone has material possessions, sees his brother in need but has no compassion on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:17-18

Our local community has shared the need for the following food & hygiene items:

Pasta Sauce & Noodles – Canned Fruits, Meats & Soups – Peanut Butter – Cereal – Healthy snacks

Hygiene items: Baby wipes – Bottles for Life (Amnion) – Diapers (esp. sizes 3-4-5)

Partnerships of ministry & service:

We believe in the value of partnering with existing organizations that are set up to serve people in our community on a regular basis.  Your food and diaper donations will be distributed to the local Lakeville food shelf and the Amnion & Metro Women’s Centers. These ministries are committed to helping people in need and your support helps us strengthen our partnerships to serve others.

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”Hebrews 6:10

Looking forward to reporting to you the goals of generosity in these serving ministries!
