Breaking Free Baby Shower

SIGN UP HERE TO DONATE  Only a few women will be attending but here are some ways you can help: 1) Provide specific food items (drop off at church if you can't attend shower) - list is on the sign up form 2) Women to help at event--Facilitate "Mr and Mrs Right/Left" game or Diaper game, set up food and pack up leftovers, pray with women, help carry gifts to cars 3) Donate VISA gift cards in any amount to go to moms' $150 big wish gift items (double stroller, car seat, crib, etc.) Place donations on table in commons on or before Sunday May 5th.

Arrive Ministries Orientation

Arrive Ministries Arrive is a  Christian non-profit organization dedicated to the cause of the refugee. Our Justice & Service Ministry Team is researching opportunities to partner with this Christian ministry and walk alongside a specific refuge family for a year. You are invited to attend the next Volunteer Orientation at their office in Richfield on Tuesday, May 21. At this orientation, we will learn who refugees are, their journey, and all of the volunteer opportunities available through Arrive Ministries. Intergenerational Service Project

Intergenerational Groups gather together once more to finish our school year time together with an all ages service project here at LivingWaters & off-site at Paul Povolny's Shop. Together we will: Paint shelves & racking for the worship center storage rooms at Paul Povolny's shop Cleaning projects indoors in the Worship Center Weather permitting outdoor yard work at the church property Our night will end back together here for ice-cream and fellowship.

SIGN UP HERE BBQ outreach at Cityview Church - 3041 4th Ave. S., Minneapolis Helping our "sister" church serve the broad spectrum of people groups in their neighborhood, including: Somali's, Muslims, Native Americans (Little Earth) and the Hispanic community. Preparing, grilling and serving food for 100 people. Preparing side dishes or donating cookies/dessert bars. Serve food, talk with people, pray and do a craft or game with the children. Carpooling is suggested. Meet at the Ministry Center 4:00 (set up group) and 5:00 (others).
