Now to Him, who is able, the only wise God, be glory!

Threefold cause for warning: division, deception, disobedience

 

Threefold call for worship: glory to God for He is able!

• Able to extinguish the enemy (16:17-20) – defeat Satan!

I want you to be wise about what is good and evil.

 

• Able to establish the gospel (16:20-25) – declare Salvation!

To Him who is able to establish you.

 

• Able to endure as eternal (16:25-27) – decisive Sovereign!

By the command of the eternal God…to the only God.
