We will be caught up together to meet the Lord
Confidently waiting for Christ’s return – two certainties
We do not want you to be uninformed or unaware…
1) Reassurance of Christ’s Return (4:13-15) We believe…
God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him
Certainty #1 = we can have confidence because Christ reassures
The Second Advent of Christ will come about ~ Be Encouraged
2) Readiness for Christ’s Return (4:16-18) We believe…
The Lord himself will come with the trumpet call of God
Certainty #2 = we can have confidence because Christ returns
The Second Advent of Christ will come about ~ Be Expectant!
