Please join us as we will be discussing “The Nightingale: A Novel” by Kristin Hannah. The setting for this historical novel is in World War II France when Jews were being sent to the dreaded concentration camps. Two sisters become involved in efforts to save many women and children from almost certain death. Kristin Hannah’s thorough research of the times, as well as excellent story development make this book a worthwhile read!

The book club has chosen A Man Called Ove by Frederick Backman, for its next selection. “A beautiful story that is skillfully presented and eloquently narrated. The way this book is structured, in short chapters, makes it exceptionally easy to read.” ~Amazon. (As a side note to future readers, our book club feels the author uses some offensive language.) We will be meeting at the Lindstrom’s - all are welcome!
