Grip the good fight – three discipling directives:

  • Encourage disciples – 4:1-4 [discipleship]

Preach the Word with great patience

 

  • Endure difficulty – 4:5-8 [fellowship]

Keep your head in all situations, endure hardship

 

  • Evangelism duties – 4:5 & 8 [evangelism]

Do the work of an evangelist, discharge the duties
